Rearrangements of Conditionally Integrable Functions

From an s-variate continuous function whose positive and negative parts both have infinite Lebesgue integral, we construct a continuous rearrangement whose generalized Riemann integral equals any prescribed value. The original function is assumed to be finite a.e., with domain an interval in IR. A similar result is obtained for functions defined on a ball.

δ-approximable Functions

In this paper we study several notions of approximability of functions in the framework of the BSS model. Denoting with φδM the function computed by a BSS machine M when its comparisons are against −δ rather than 0, we study classes of functions f for which φδM → f in some sense (pointwise, uniformly, etc.). The main equivalence results show that this notion coincides with Type 2 computability ...

Intuitionistic Fuzzy δ-continuous Functions

In this paper, we characterize the intuitionistic fuzzy δ-continuous, intuitionistic fuzzy weakly δ-continuous, intuitionistic fuzzy almost continuous, and intuitionistic fuzzy almost strongly θ-continuous functions in terms of intuitionistic fuzzy δ-closure and interior or θ-closure and interior.

On somewhat fuzzy δ-continuous functions

In this paper the concepts of somewhat fuzzy δ-continuous functions, somewhat fuzzy δ-open functions between fuzzy topological spaces are introduced and studied. Besides giving characterizations of these functions, several interesting properties of these functions are studied. The concepts of fuzzy δ-resolvable spaces and fuzzy δ-irresolvable spaces are also introduced and studied in this paper...

Pointwise Estimates Formultivariate Interpolation Using Conditionally Positive Definite Functions

We seek pointwise error estimates for interpolants, on scattered data, constructed using a basis of conditionally positive deenite functions of order m, and polynomials of degree not exceeding m-1. Two diierent approaches to the analysis of such interpolation are considered. The former uses distributions and reproducing kernel ideas, whilst the latter is based on a Lagrange function approach. E...
